ZS Corp. performed a complete exterior re-hab of our 1940 colonial to include:
-Installation of more than 40 Andersen replacement windows
-Repair of improperly installed roofing, flashing, and soffit venting by another contractor. This recurring leak was corrected by constructing a roof cricket and re-flashing the chimney.
- Removal of existing clapboards and installation of Hardie plank fiber cement siding.
- Installation of AZEK trim on the windows, corner boards, and frieze.
- Removal of a completely rotted covered porch, and design and construction of a small addition to include radiant floor heating, plastering, interior trim, custom millwork, hardwood floors and painting.
- Replacement of exterior doors and entrance columns.
- Installation and trim for replacement basement windows.
- Construction of a deck and railing system
- Demolition of exiting brick front stairs and replacement with field stone and blue stone.
- Demolition and re-framing of existing window openings to accommodate architecturally correct window sizes (incorrectly sized during a previous rehab).
Jeff and his crew were outstanding. Start to finish, everything was conducted professionally. I checked more than 10 of Jeff's references and I visited many of his previous job sites. All the work was impeccable and his clients had great things to say about the company. Jeff provided a detailed estimate and executed all work in accordance with the contract. He clearly communicated start dates, schedule, staffing, and deliveries. His crew took great lengths to make sure the job site was clean and safe each night. Additionally, Jeff was proactive about discussing scope modifications and change orders (e.g. rotten sills and existing framing, re-flashing chimney, replacing existing doors). Jeff clearly explained cost and credits for changes, offered solutions, and took steps to make sure the work was done properly.
It was a pleasure working with Jeff and his crew. The final product and the experience were top notch and I would recommend them without hesitation.
